![]() Foreword by the Rev. Colin Midlane
Deluxe Edition Frontispiece by Allan Bednar Escaping from one battle and straight into another, the Doctor and his companion, Catherine, find themselves on a far flung world where time travellers are persecuted as witches and warlocks by the Papal Inquisition. The Doctor is arrested, his only hope of escape being Cat, but she has demons of her own to face, and as the Doctor starts to realise exactly what is happening, so time rapidly starts to slip away for both him and Cat. Background information:Telos Publishing presents the thirteenth in our series of original Doctor Who Novellas, Companion Piece, a story written by Mike Tucker and Robert Perry. The book was available in two superb editions: a standard hardback with cloth-effect cover and foil-stamped logo and title; and a signed and numbered limited edition deluxe hardback. Both editions featured a special foreword, the deluxe edition also included a specially commissioned frontispiece illustration by Allan Bednar, who was recently involved with the Doctor Who spin-off comic series Miranda, written by Lance Parkin and published by Comeuppance Comics. All copies of the limited edition deluxe version came individually signed by the author, frontispiece artist and foreword writer. Companion Piece was published on the 18th of December 2003
