Honoré Lechasseur, a time sensitive "fixer", is hired by mystery woman Emily Blandish to find him. Lechasseur discovers that the Doctor is, in fact, a semi-mythical figure who has appeared off and on throughout Earth's history. But what is his connection with London in 1949? And why is a mysterious group seeking "the cabinet of light" - a device somehow connected with the Doctor.

Lechasseur is about to discover that following in the Doctor's footsteps can be a difficult task.

Background information:

Telos Publishing presents the ninth in our series of original Doctor Who Novellas, The Cabinet of Light, a story written by Daniel O'Mahony.

The book was available in two superb editions: a standard hardback with cloth-effect cover and foil-stamped logo and title; and a signed and numbered limited edition deluxe hardback.

Both editions featured a special foreword by Chaz Brenchley, the deluxe edition also included a specially commissioned frontispiece illustration by John Higgins.

All copies of the limited edition deluxe version came individually signed by the author, frontispiece artist and foreword writer.

The adventure continues in Time Hunter: The Winning Side which was published in August 2003 and is still in print.
